Bar

The Oakleaf suite of Aughton Village Hall has a small function bar which can be requested functions serving a range of beer, wines, spirits and soft drinks.

Aughton Village Hall posses a premise licence for the consumption of alcohol on the premise which includes both the Oakleaf and Acorn suites with the bar being situated in the Oakleaf Suite (main hall) however alternative arrangements can be considered for events if required.

The bar can serve from 11am and normally serves until 11pm. Drinking is permitted until midnight.

The bar serves a range of draught beers, bottled alcoholic beverages, wines & spirits and a range of soft drinks.

Draught subject to demand, cans maybe substituted when draught is unavailable.

Wine

Our house wine is the Orchard Boulevard and available in a Red: ‘Merlot’, Rose: ‘White Zinfandel’ and White: ‘Sauvignon Blanc’.

We also have a selection of guest wine which changes throughout the year.

Spirits

We serve a range of spirits including:

  • Whiskies including Bells, Famous Grouse and Jamesons Irish Whisky

All are available with a range of mixers including bottles orange juice, lemonade, coke cola and tonic water.

Bar Management

The bar is managed by Martyn Bristow.

Martyn has worked at Aughton Village Hall for several years as well as having been to university and worked with a major pub chain and also a restaurant.

Aughton Village Hall as a licensed premise reserves the right refuse service to individuals and ID may be required if you are determined to look under 21.
